There will be a wide range of attractions to enjoy at the Stoke Row and Nuffield Motorsport Day, from things to look at and admire to activities in which both adults and children can get involved.
The centrepiece of the show will be the display of historic and modern racing cars and motorbikes, along with some mouthwatering classic cars, many of which will have been getting some exercise in the Maharajah’s Tour during the morning. There will be a “Best in Show” prize for the car which gets the most votes from the junior visitors. There will be stalls selling motoring books and memorabilia and a chance to visit the Delta Motorsport workshop, next to the main show site.
Not everyone wants to spend the entire afternoon looking at cars and a very popular attraction at the show for non-petrolheads will be the refreshment area where the Stoke Row School Parents Association provide fantastic food and drink, including delicious homemade cakes.
For those who are thinking of making a weekend of it, there will be a fun family bike ride on Saturday afternoon, followed by a barbecue.
Entry to the show is by voluntary contribution and remember – all the proceeds go to deserving causes.
